AtriumTutoring centre software

Tutor pay, built from the roll.

Can pay come from what was actually taught, without tutors typing hours?

Atrium does the sums. You approve each pay run and send it to Xero.

Pay rules you set

Pay by tutor role

Each centre sets a rate for each tutor role, or one rate for any role.

Pay by class size

Pay a different rate when a class is bigger.

Hourly rates

Type a rate, or use a pay item from Xero payroll.

Your pay cycle

Pay periods of one to four weeks, from a start date you pick.

Build timesheets from classes taught

Drafts build after each pay period ends, once you switch the setting on.

From roll to timesheet

  1. Classes that ran

Once Rosa marks students as attending, that class counts toward Rosa's pay. Cancelled classes stay off.

  2. Cover and leave

Cover pay goes to the tutor who taught. Approved leave stays off.

  3. Students and hours

Filled in from the roll and the length of the class.

  4. Rate and amount

Your pay rule sets the rate, and Atrium works out the amount.

  5. A class with no rule

It shows up with the reason beside it, so you can add the missing rule.

Before a timesheet locks

See the lines first

Preview each tutor's lines for the period before you create them.

Hours added by hand

Add extra hours by hand, and Atrium prices them from your rules. Each edit keeps its reason.

Approved means locked

A manager approves each timesheet. Its lines lock, ready for a pay run.

Checking the pay run

Each centre bundles its approved timesheets into a pay run. You look over each tutor's pay, adjust hours with a note where needed, then approve.

Two approvers for big runs

Once a run reaches its limit, a second person has to approve it.
Someone other than the person who started the run approves first, then asks for the second.
The run waits in the Approvals inbox until the second approval comes in.

Approved,then off to Xero.

You send approved pay when you are ready. It goes to Xero payroll.

Questions about tutor pay

Are pay rules set per centre?

Yes. Each centre keeps its own rules. The pay cycle is set once for the organisation.

What if a class changes after timesheets are made?

Draft timesheets update with it. Approved pay stays as it was.

How do I correct pay already sent?

Start an adjustment pay run for a one-off correction. A final pay run covers a tutor who is leaving.

What if a centre has only one manager?

The owner gives the second approval.

What if an export only partly goes through?

A retry sends only the lines that failed.
